Crushed Japanese black lava grit.
Fuji grit is most commonly used to dress the soil surface of bonsai pots, but can also be used as an ingrediant in soil mixes, particalarly with pines and junipers to keep the mixture open between the longer re-potting periods. It helps retain moisture in the soil and improves the appearance of the soil surface, paricularly when used in conjunction with moss.
Matt black colour with a particle size from 0.5-6mm.
